Your Instructors
Lenni EmmottMy name is Lenni and I am the manager and Team Captain of Two Bridges Flyball Club. I have been working with dogs from the age of 11, training my own dog to do agility and we competed each year, getting to Crufts in the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the year with my Japanese Spitz Candy. I trained all my own dogs since. My dog Ernie, took a liking to balls and so I tried him at a flyball fun class and he picked it up very quickly. I did some research and set up my own club in Saltash over the summer in 2015. I have taken part in online training seminars about flyball with some of the top trainers around the World and have practiced their methods to determine which ones are the best and most effective to use. When I was pregnant with my first son my husband and a couple of my loyal members stepped up to support with training whilst I organised bookings. I still have an active part in training and keeping all of our instructors up to date with the latest training techniques. With now 20 years experience of training dogs- difficult ones at that, you can be sure I will do everything I can to support you and your dog in your flyball journey!

Rob Emmott
Rob is the co-founder for Two Bridges Flyball and has been working hard with myself to build the club up. Rob supports at training on a Saturday with our competition and Foundation dogs, and also instructs our Fitzworthy Beginners on Tuesdays. He does everything he can to help your dog succeed and is quick to adapt to any extra support your dog may need- whether that be coming back on recall, coping with the box, doing an unfenced run back or simply coming down the flyball lane towards the box. Rob instructs and supports among the majority of the sessions so you are sure to meet him at one of your sessions. Rob runs one of our members dogs in our top team. He also deals with any maintenance issues and ensures all of our equipment is safe and fully functioning.

Rob Wilson
Rob is one of our Instructors and currently works with our Competition and Foundation dogs and our Beginners on Mondays. Rob has grown up training dogs for farm life and gun sports. He has one dog at the minute, a black labrador named Charlie. Rob specialises in ensuring dogs are doing safe box turns, and building their confidence on the box.
Like a lot of people Rob grew interested in Flyball after seeing it on Crufts one year. A simple google search later and he found Two Bridges. Been doing flyball with his dog Charlie for about 6 years now, they started as soon as he was old enough and he's coming on well. They've been to a few competitions already. Rob says that 'flyball has been loads of fun. Worth it for the Janet's cakes alone. Been loving getting to know and helping teach your dogs. If you need anything, just let me know' |
Your Admin Team
Kat Paton
Kat, who has always lived with dogs, first started flyball in January 2018 with her black lab Evie as part of Duchy Dashers in Cornwall. She originally started to do something fun with her dog and to work on socialisation. Evie was a quick learner and progressed rapidly. Unfortunately Kat and Evie’s flyball career was met with many obstacles, including the closure of her original club and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kat joined Two Bridges in late 2019 and has been competing for the past two years. Kat begun helping with the club admin in 2023, alongside helping at training and events. Despite moving to Somerset she has remained with the club as she loves the club’s ethos and their flexibility with her work as a doctor. In 2023, she passed her judge’s exam and is now a BFA Provisional Judge. |
