About your InstructorsMy name is Lenni and I am the manager and Team Captain of Two Bridges Flyball Club. I have been working with dogs from the age of 11, training my own dog to do agility and we competed each year, getting to Crufts in the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the year with my Japanese Spitz Candy. I trained all my own dogs since. My dog Ernie, took a liking to balls and so I tried him at a flyball fun class and he picked it up very quickly. I did some research and set up my own club in Saltash over the summer in 2013. I have taken part in online training seminars about flyball with some of the top trainers around the World and have practiced their methods to determine which ones are the best and most effective to use. When I was pregnant with my first son my husband and a couple of my loyal members stepped up to support with training whilst I organised bookings. I still have an active part in training and keeping all of our instructors up to date with the latest training techniques. With now 20 years experience of training dogs- difficult ones at that, you can be sure I will do everything I can to support you and your dog in your flyball journey!

Chris Murray
Chris runs our flyball sessions at Hitts Barton. He first came to flyball in 2016 when coming across another club doing have a go’s. His dog Bryson loved it so they joined up, and Bryson became a competition dog. Then in July 2018 they joined Two Bridges and ran their first competitions together in 2019. Unfortunately Bryson picked up an injury which ruled him out of action for a bit. It was during this time that Chris got involved working with the other dogs and he loved it. Chris runs his own dog in our Two Bridges Take a Bow team, and a friends dog in Two Bridges Twist and Shout team. He specialise's in building the dogs confidence over the jumps, and building a bond with every dog . Chris says 'I truly love being part of this madcap flyball family and can't wait till we can start up again'

Rob Wilson
Rob is one of our Instructors and currently works with our Competition and Foundation dogs at Fitzworthy and our Beginners on Mondays at Fitzworthy. Rob has grown up training dogs for farm life and gun sports. He has one dog at the minute, a black labrador named Charlie. Rob specialises in ensuring dogs are doing safe box turns, and building their confidence on the box.
Like a lot of people Rob grew interested in Flyball after seeing it on Crufts one year. A simple google search later and he found Two Bridges. Been doing flyball with his dog Charlie for about a year and a half now, they started as soon as he was old enough and he's coming on well. They've been to a few competitions already. Rob says that 'flyball has been loads of fun. Worth it for the Janet's cakes alone. Been loving getting to know and helping teach your dogs. If you need anything, just let me know' |
